Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is a Sikh temple in Delhi but anyone with any caste or religion can go in, pay respects to the holy book, and have a clean, satisfying meal, made lovingly by pious people, in the langar. Everyone, rich or poor, is served humbly and expected to leave only after they have eaten to their heart’s content.

Indeed, there are very few holy places in the capital which are so welcoming to people of all faiths.

This young man has a tough job. In the heat and humidity of a Delhi August, he runs from this place to that to cover events as they happen. There are many rival news channels in the city, the competition is tough and he has to be constantly on his toes to be the first. In exchange, he has to hear the general crib about the "news-hungry, intrusive, insensitive media-wallas."
